These numbers were presented by company chief Ted Sarandon at the Recode Code conference in Beverly Hills, California yesterday. Netflix has been more open about its viewership in recent years, but it remains very cautious about publicly shared stats; one reason could be that only 3% of the most viewed content on Netflix is produced by the company, based on an industry estimate. the company's ability to make its original broadcasts and films more prominent on the platform interface.
